Caramel Apple Pretzel Bites

Yield: 44 servings

Ingredients

Directions:

Preheat oven to 250 degrees F

On a large cookie sheet, spread the pretzels across the pan in rows.

Unwrap each caramel and place them on top of each pretzel.

Core each apple (discard the core) and cut into small bite size pieces.

Place the apples in a bowl of Sprite or lemon juice to prevent browning.

Dry the apple chunks completely with paper towels.

Insert a toothpick into each apple chunk and set aside.

Bake the caramel topped pretzel for 5 to 6 minutes.

When the caramels are soft, push the pierced apple into the top of each caramel.

Let cool and serve immediately.
